ListSage provides tools that help ecommerce sellers create ready-to-post product listings for online marketplaces. In this Privacy Policy, “ListSage,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to ListSage. “Services” refers to the ListSage marketing website, the ListSage application, and related products, features, communications, and support services.

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with ListSage. We may collect information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and information received from service providers.

Information you provide directly

• Account information: Your name, email address, password or authentication credentials, and account preferences.
• Product and listing information: Product names, descriptions, materials, sizing, variations, personalization details, keywords, brand-voice preferences, marketplace selections, existing listing URLs, and other information you submit.
• Uploaded content: Product photographs, graphics, documents, and other files you choose to upload.
• Communications: Information included in support requests, contact forms, surveys, feedback, reviews, or other communications with us.
• Purchase information: Credit package purchased, transaction date, payment status, billing contact information, and related transaction records.

Payment-card information is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. ListSage does not directly store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.

Information collected automatically

When you visit or use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

• IP address and approximate location derived from the IP address;
• Browser type, device type, operating system, and language;
• Referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and visit timestamps;
• Account activity, feature usage, errors, and performance information;
• Cookie identifiers and similar device or browser identifiers; and
• Information about how you interact with our website and application.

Information received from third parties

We may receive information from payment processors, authentication providers, analytics providers, customer-support tools, hosting providers, and other vendors that help us operate the Services.

2. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to:

• Create, maintain, secure, and manage your ListSage account;
• Review product information and generate product listings for the marketplaces you select;
• Personalize generated listings using your product details, preferences, and brand voice;
• Process purchases and maintain credit and transaction records;
• Save your products, listings, settings, and account history so you can return to and reuse them;
• Provide customer service and respond to questions or feedback;
• Send service-related messages, such as account, purchase, security, and policy notices;
• Send marketing communications where permitted by law and according to your communication choices;
• Understand how the Services are used and improve their performance, reliability, design, and features;
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Service;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements and rights; and
• Create aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify an individual.

3. AI and Product-Content Processing

ListSage uses artificial intelligence and automated systems to review the information you provide and generate product-listing content. Product details, uploaded images, existing listing content, instructions, and related information may be transmitted to third-party technology and AI service providers solely as needed to operate the Services.

Automated systems may analyze product information to identify missing details, recommend keywords, apply marketplace formatting, and generate titles, descriptions, tags, and other listing fields.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit any product content, images, trademarks, descriptions, or other materials uploaded to ListSage.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

Service providers

We may share information with companies that provide services on our behalf, including:

• Website and application hosting;
• Cloud storage and database services;
• Payment processing;
• Artificial-intelligence and content-processing services;
• Authentication and account management;
• Email delivery and customer communications;
• Analytics and performance monitoring;
• Security, fraud prevention, and error reporting; and
• Customer support and business operations.

These providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to perform services for us and are expected to process it in accordance with applicable agreements and law.

Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; protect the rights, property, or safety of ListSage, our users, or others; detect fraud or security issues; or enforce our agreements.

Business transfers

Information may be disclosed or transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar business transaction. Where required, we will provide notice before personal information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.

With your direction or consent

We may share information when you direct us to do so or otherwise provide consent.

ListSage and our service providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, understand website usage, improve performance, prevent fraud, and measure marketing effectiveness.

These technologies may include:

• Essential technologies: Necessary for account login, security, payments, navigation, and core website functions.
• Analytics technologies: Help us understand how visitors use the Services and identify performance issues.
• Preference technologies: Remember selected settings and choices.
• Advertising technologies: Measure campaigns or help deliver relevant advertising, if we use advertising services.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, complete transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.

Product information and generated listing text may remain available in your account while the account remains active, subject to our Terms of Service and operational retention practices.

Uploaded product photographs associated with an inactive account may be deleted after 24 months of inactivity. Text-based product and listing information may be retained for longer unless you request deletion or we determine it is no longer reasonably necessary.

Some information may remain in backups for a limited period after deletion. We may also retain transaction, security, fraud-prevention, and legal records when required or permitted by law.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No online service, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

8. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal information we maintain about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information;
• Request deletion of certain personal information;
• Receive a portable copy of certain personal information;
• Object to or restrict certain processing;
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, or certain profiling where applicable; and
• Appeal our decision regarding a privacy request where applicable.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

Email preferences

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in those messages. You may still receive necessary transactional and service-related communications.

Account information

You may review or update certain account information from your ListSage account settings. To request account deletion, contact us using the information below.

9. California Privacy Disclosures

This section supplements the rest of this Privacy Policy for California residents. The rights described here apply where ListSage is subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, or another applicable California privacy law.

Sale and sharing

ListSage does not sell personal information for monetary compensation. Certain analytics or advertising technologies may constitute “sharing” or a “sale” under some broadly written state privacy laws, even when no money is exchanged.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

California request rights

Subject to applicable law and exceptions, California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and may request information about its collection, use, and disclosure. California residents may also have the right to opt out of sale or sharing and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information.

Do Not Track

Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not currently a universally accepted standard for responding to traditional Do Not Track signals, our Services may not respond to them.

Where required by law, we will process recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out for the browser or device sending the signal.

California Shine the Light

California residents may request certain information regarding disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. ListSage does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes without consent.

10. International Users

ListSage is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from another country, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate.

Where required, we rely on appropriate legal bases and safeguards for processing and transferring personal information. Depending on the circumstances, our legal bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and consent.

Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to processing, receive data portability, and withdraw consent. They may also lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority.

11. Children’s Privacy

ListSage is intended for adults and business users. The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has submitted personal information to ListSage, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

12. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may link to marketplaces, websites, or services operated by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not govern the privacy practices of Etsy, Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Stripe, or any other third party.

Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service’s own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to the third party.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our Services, technology, vendors, or legal obligations.

When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice, such as an email or an in-app notification, where appropriate or required by law.
